About Lucky Dragon Hotel And Casino
The Lucky Dragon is brand spanking new! It just opened in December of 2016, on the Northern end of The Strip. Which is exactly when (we are thinking not coincidentally) Hainan Airlines started to offer direct flights from Beijing to Las Vegas. You see, Lucky Dragon is aimed toward Chinese visitors. In the casino, Pai Gow and Baccarat tables abound. All signs are in Chinese and English, and the staff speaks Chinese. The restaurants feature Asian food. The entire casino is awash in lucky color red. Truly, Lucky Dragon has gone all out to make Chinese travellers feel at home here.
That’s not to say that non-Chinese folks won’t enjoy themselves at Lucky Dragon! LD offers many locals-only discounts. Who wouldn’t enjoy the best dim sum in Las Vegas at Pearl Ocean? Or benefit from the advanced knowledge of the only tea sommelier in Vegas at Cha Garden? Or get excited at the prospect of 50% off cocktails for Happy Hour at the casino bar?
The rooms at the Lucky Dragon hotel look lovely. We did a quick search, and they start from $68 a night for your basic King room, to $150-ish for a junior suite, all the way up to $200+ for a full size suite. We’ll be honest, when you enter your Lucky Dragon Hotel promo code in the promo code box, your rates actually go up $10 per night. Which is kind of lame, but that $50 dining credit still puts you ahead. Please note, the Lucky Dragon Hotel promo code box does not appear until after you enter your dates. If a dining credit doesn’t float your boat, Hotels.com often has low Lucky Dragon Hotel rates.
Hotels Near Lucky Dragon Hotel And Casino – Nothing. Seriously. Stratosphere is a half mile North. Circus Circus may look close, but it is a full mile South. SLS is technically right across the street, but it’s somehow over a half mile walk. It’s not a particularly nice area to walk around in, either. If you are headed to The Strip proper, take Coupon Puppet’s advice and grab a cab, or walk across the street to the SLS Monorail Station to get to points South. Definitely walk through the SLS after dark.
